What is included in the Cruise price?

A Cruise vacation offers the best travel value for your dollar. You pay one price up front and the price includes accommodations, all meals, onboard daytime activities, nighttime parties, and entertainment. Most cruise prices do not include air; however, special airfare is available from the cruise line. Transfers are included if airfare is purchased from the cruise line; however, there may be an additional charge for transfers to/from airport to pier if you do not take advantage of the special air/sea programs. Port charges will be included in all AAA Cruise Dealer quotes.

What is not included?

Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, shore excursions, services of a personal nature such as laundry and dry cleaning, medical services, photos, barber and beauty shop services, gratuities, and massages and spa treatments.

What are the gratuity requirements?

Gratuities are at your discretion. As a guideline, the average gratuity recommendation is as follows: Cabin Steward - $3.50 per guest per day; Waiter - $3.50 per guest per day; Busboy - $2.00 per guest per day. Tipping the maitre d' and headwaiter is at your discretion. Bar bill gratuity policies vary from cruise line; however, many add 15% automatically to your bar bill.

What if I have to cancel?

Cancellation policies vary based on the cruise line. Your AAA Cruise Dealer agent will inform you of the specific policies at the time of booking. We strongly recommend you consider trip insurance in the event of an emergency that would result in cancellation or interruption of your cruise vacation. We can provide you with insurance information and coverage. The cost of insurance is additional to the basic cruise price.
