Disney Cruise Line
General Information

A land and sea adventure you will never forget! In seven unforgettable days, on one incredible vacation, with spectacular entertainment, unique dining experiences and enchanting adventures that only Disney could create, a new kind of magic unfolds on a ship inspired by the glorious ocean liners of the past. Here, adults find excitement and romance. Children have the time of their lives and families come together in a shared journey into discovery. And it all happens in a world where fantasy comes to life. On a ship that floats on fun.

Your seven-day adventure begins at the airport when the special Disney Cruise Line motorcoach takes you to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel where one check-in takes care of both your land and sea accommodations. The magic continues at the Disney Theme Parks and right into the Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral, where you first set eyes on the Disney Magic. On board, there’s something for everyone – a floating world of fantastic dining and entertainment, one-of-a-kind activities, roomy staterooms and impeccable Disney-style service. There’s never been a ship like this and it’s all yours to discover as you cruise to the Port of Nassau in the Bahamas…a prelude to Disney’s Castaway Cay, a pristine private island escape.

Accommodations
There are six different stateroom floor plans. That can accommodate one to seven people. Because of thoughtful design, different members of the family can use various bathroom facilities simultaneously. Because of extra storage space, you don’t have to navigate around suitcases and other items. Because of all this and more – including the built-in hair dryer and other amenities – you’re convinced that there isn't anything in this room or on this ship that wasn’t carefully crafted to comfort and surprise you throughout your voyage.

Questions & Answers

Q. Will I enjoy this cruise vacation as an adult?
A. Of course! Disney Magic has something for everyone, separately and together. The Disney Magic has been specifically designed so that kids over three have their own separate areas of supervised activity away from adults. You’ll hardly be aware they are onboard. So you can enjoy the traditional features of cruising that make it such a wonderful adult experience. Plus we’ve created some specific areas and entertainment that adult guests will find particularly attractive. On the Disney Magic, adult-oriented areas include the adult pool, the spa and fitness center, Beat Street entertainment district and Palo, in intimate restaurant serving Italian cuisine. On Disney’s Castaway Cay, there’s a private adult beach and outdoor massage cabanas.

Q. Do I need a passport?
A. All U.S. and Canadian citizens must travel with proof of citizenship, which is a valid passport, certified birth certificate with picture identification, or a certified naturalization certificate with picture identification. Any guest traveling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare will be issued.

Q. Should I bring cash? Credit cards? Foreign currency?
A. Transactions onboard the Disney Magic are in US dollars. In the Bahamas, US dollars and major credit cards are acceptable almost everywhere. But you won’t need much cash because Disney Cruise Line has a convenient "cash-free system" on board ship.

Q. What should I pack?
A. In short, less is better. Casual and comfortable clothing is all that is required. Bring comfortable shoes. Ladies won’t need a dress and men can leave the jacket/tie at home. Don’t forget your swimwear, sunglasses, a sun hat or visor and sunscreen.

Q. Is there baby-sitting and child care on board?
A. Of course! Supervised children’s adventures and activities are available on the ship from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for children ages 3-12. Supervised care available for a fee from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Activities have been designed for teens as well, ages 13-17.

Q. Did you say there’s a spa on the ship?
A. AHHH! LEAD ME TO IT! The Disney Magic has one of the largest and most elaborate spa and fitness centers at sea, with programs ranging from a simple facial to a full range of treatments to relax and refresh your body and soul.

Q. Will we get to see Disney characters on board?
A. We thought you’d never ask! On board, the beloved Disney characters appear like magic in a array of different settings including lively stage shows, enchanting storytelling events, plenty to meet and greet and photo opportunities, and other special activities, especially the kid’s areas on Disney’s Castaway Cay.
