About Fort Sumter National Monument

Children under 6 free. This is a concession fee for the boat ride to Fort Sumter and is subject to change. There is no charge to enter the fort. For more information call Fort Sumter Tours at (843)881-7337.

Fort Sumter National Monument includes historic Fort Sumter located in Charleston Harbor, the Liberty Square Visitor Education Center and departure facilities in Charleston at 340 Concord Street, and Fort Moultrie, located on Sullivan's Island. You may either use the park concession ferry or your private boat to reach Fort Sumter. All other sites are accessible via automobile.
