Come and visit the North Carolina Aviation Museum

North Carolina Aviation Museum is at the Asheboro Municipal Airport, 3 mi. s. on US 49, then e. on Tot Hill Farm Rd. to 2222 Pilot View. Operated by the Peddycord Foundation for Aircraft Conservation, this museum focuses primarily on military aviation history. It houses more than a dozen planes from World War II and the Korean War, all of which still fly. The last plane ever flown by Orville Wright is displayed. Allow 1 hour minimum.
