For the safety of everyone on the road—drivers and passengers, AAA Carolinas be­lieves in better driving through education. Our Approved Driving School Network certifies specific schools to teach first-time drivers. The following schools currently meet AAA Carolinas’ stringent criteria for driver’s education:

Motorists in the Fayetteville, NC, area can benefit from a free Safe Driving Day event at the Fayetteville AAA Vacations office, 181 Glensford Drive. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, and includes CarFit aid for seniors, child safety seat inspec­tions and vehicle safety checks.

Appointments are required for child safety seat inspec­tions, in which caregivers are taught how to properly install a seat. The inspec­tion takes 15 to 20 minutes per seat, and the vehicle owner’s manual and safety seat manual should be brought to the appointment.

CarFit takes about 15 minutes, and an ap­pointment is required. No appointment is nec­essary for a vehicle safety check.
