April 16-21, Carolina motorists can drop off dead or unused vehicle and marine batteries at AAA Carolinas’ Approved Auto Repair facilities, battery assist stations and AAA AutoMark Car Care. Each person will receive $1 for each battery donated and a free scheduled battery checkup. Nationwide, more than 70,000 batteries have been gathered by AAA clubs since the annual Great Battery Roundup began in 2001.
