The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is Disney's flagship hotel and its most luxurious. Themed for the grand Victorian hotels that graced the Florida coast during the late 19th century, Disney's Grand Floridian exudes charm, romance, and unparalleled service. It is located on the Seven Seas Lagoon between Disney's Polynesian Resort and the Magic Kingdom® Park.

This hotel is breathtakingly Victorian with gabled roofs, turrets, and verandas. The Grand Lobby soars five stories to meet the sky with stained-glass domes and crystal chandeliers. Palms, an aviary and an open-caged elevator continue the Victorian decoration.

Guest rooms are spread among five 'lodge' buildings adjacent to the Grand Lobby and the Lobby building itself. The Grand Lobby contains the specialized concierge level that hosts special amenities and personalized service. Standard rooms are found in the lodge buildings and reflect a posh Victorian theme.

Rooms are spacious; sleeping 5 and an infant under age three. Some rooms overlook the Seven Seas Lagoon, but those overlooking the central courtyard are treated to the most romantic view of the Victorian architecture, especially wonderful at night.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa boasts the most extensive dining choices of any of Disney's resorts. There are six restaurants ranging from casual to elegant. A wonderful afternoon tea is served in the Victorian tradition daily in the Garden View Lounge.

There is also a full-service spa (the largest of all the Disney resorts) that offers all you would expect from a world-class spa: fitness facilities, facials, body therapies, massages and more.

Disney's Grand Floridian is a monorail resort very close to the Magic Kingdom® Park. You can also catch boat transportation to the MK. You can reach Epcot® via the monorail. Buses provide transport to all other areas of Walt Disney World®.

This is perhaps the most romantic of all Disney's resort hotels. For honeymooners and couples without children who want to feel pampered, Disney's Grand Floridian more than serves the purpose.
