Located in the middle of the action of Disney's BoardWalk dining and entertainment complex, Disney's BoardWalk Inn recreates an atmosphere reminiscent of Atlantic City's Boardwalk in the late 1930s. It fronts Crescent Lake and is within walking distance of Epcot®, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club resorts and the Swan and Dolphin hotels. It also shares a grand lobby with Disney's BoardWalk Villas - a home-away-from-home vacation resort.
This is a truly beautiful resort. The decor and landscaping are charmingly elegant without being stuffy. The Inn brings to mind the casual luxury of a first-class bed and breakfast inn.
The rooms are moderate in size and are decorated with a floral patterned carpet, soft pastels and cherry wood furniture. Rooms can accommodate up to five persons. The Inn also has a unique room option: two-story 'honeymoon cottages' that have their own private entrance and small garden.
Luna Park is the main pool area and it's shared with the neighboring BoardWalk Villas. It's actually a mini water park with its 200 foot waterslide, the "Keister Coaster", fashioned after a vintage wooden roller coaster. The Inn also has a quiet pool for those guests requiring a little less activity.
There are no dining facilities within Disney's BoardWalk Inn, per say. Guests at the Inn take advantage of the eating establishments on the BoardWalk itself. You can go from snacks, to pizza slices, to gourmet dining and beyond! There is a small lounge off the lobby on the second floor - the Belle Vue Room - that serves a continental breakfast in the morning and libations throughout the evening.
Sample the life of 1930s Atlantic City at Disney's BoardWalk and enjoy all the charm, excitement and fun of that era. The Inn is especially attractive for folks interested primarily in Epcot®, couples wanting to sample the nightlife, and honeymooners. |
