Spring can be a great time to visit even with the heavier crowds generated by school breaks. The weather has become pleasantly warm and swimming is almost always possible. While crowds are not always fun, more people mean longer park hours (until the wee hours of the morning in many cases), there are more parades, fireworks and entertainment scheduled. A real party atmosphere prevails.
Couples and those with older kids (tweens and teens) may find Spring an especially festive time to visit.
If really heavy crowds give you the willies, avoid Easter week and Memorial Day weekend at all costs. |
