From the Airport
What are your options for getting from the airport to your hotel and back? Fortunately, Orlando has airport transportation to meet everyone’s needs (and pocketbook!)

Disney’s Magical Express Service
If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can take advantage of the complimentary airport transfer service, Disney’s Magical Express. Motor coaches take you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney hotel, while Disney claims your bags behind-the-scenes and delivers them directly to your room. No need to stand and wait at baggage claim! When your stay is over, you and your bags are taken back to the airport in time for your flight. Disney’s Magical Express Service requires a separate reservation made at least 10 days prior to arrival. Just ask your AAA Travel Professional for details.

Shuttle Bus/Van Service
Round-trip airport transfers are available via a mini-van or luxury motor coach service. This is not necessarily a direct ride to your hotel. Shuttles collect other passengers going to various Walt Disney World® resorts so be prepared to stop at other hotels before reaching your destination. No reservations are necessary, but are probably a good idea. Cost is around $30 round-trip per adult and $22 round-trip per child (ages 4-11) Children under 4 are typically free.

Taxis
Metered taxis are available by baggage claim, curbside. Advance reservations are not necessary. Standard taxis carry up to 4 passengers, with minivans carrying up to six. Costs for taxis vary with the amount of traffic you encounter: metered-based taxis are time-based. The more time it takes, the more it costs. One-way service to a Walt Disney World® resort is typically around $50-$60, Florida road tolls not included. Gratuities are up to you (usually around 15% of the metered fare).

Limos
Want to arrive in luxury? Or, do you have a larger group to transport? Limos carrying from 6 to 10 people are available for airport transport. Advanced reservations are required. The driver will meet you at baggage claim, help with luggage and take you directly to your hotel. Some will include a short grocery stop. Cost is $100-$150 one-way, with a 20% gratuity expected and often automatically added to your bill.

Town Car Service
A personal transportation service that uses a luxury passenger car (Such as a Lincoln Town Car) that carries up to 5 passengers. The Town Car service meets you at baggage claim, helps with your luggage, and takes you directly to your hotel. Most will include a short stop at a local grocery store for little, or no, additional fee. Advanced reservations are required. There are a multitude of town car services that have sprung up in Orlando, and costs usually run about $95-$110 round-trip (per car). Driver gratuity is not included - standard is 20% of the fee.

Rental Cars
All the major rental car companies service Orlando. In fact, the Orlando rental car market has become so competitive that you can often find very good deals. Some car rental agencies have their vehicles located inside the airport (Avis, Budget, Dollar and National). Others provide shuttle service to their off-site locations (Alamo, Hertz, and Thrifty).
