The 12 stateroom categories can be combined into four main groups: suites, outside staterooms with verandahs, outside staterooms with portholes and inside cabins.
Stateroom Suites
Categories 1-3 Royal Suite
2 Bedroom
1 Bedroom
Stateroom suites are much like hotel suites: the living area and bedroom(s) are completely separate. They include more amenities such as VCRs, CD players, wet bars and whirlpool tubs. Every suite has a private verandah. Suites also have access to the concierge service – all thouse spa, shore excursion, and Palo reservations will be made for you! The suites can sleep up to seven people. Land & Sea Vacation guests stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort during the Walt Disney World® portion of their holiday.
Staterooms with Verandahs
Categories 4-7 Family Stateroom
Deluxe Stateroom
Stateroom with Navigator’s Verandah
Staterooms with verandahs are more like studio apartments: the sitting and sleeping area are in the same space, although the sleeping area can be separated from the sitting area by drawing a curtain. All of these staterooms have a private verandah that includes a small table and two chairs. Perfect for ocean/island viewing and relaxing. All verandah staterooms are conveniently located on Decks 5-8. Category 4 staterooms sleep 4 to 5, while all other verandah staterooms sleep 3 to 4. Land & Sea Vacation guests stay at select Disney Deluxe Resorts: the Beach Club, the Polynesian, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, or the Swan or Dolphin.
Outside Staterooms
Categories 8-9 Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom
All of these outside staterooms have large portholes that provide natural sunlight and a view of the passing scenery. Sitting and sleeping areas are in the same space but can be divided by a heavy curtain. All have the split bath feature and most sleep 3 with a portion sleeping up to 4 or just 2. Smaller in size than verandah staterooms; Land and Sea guests stay at select Disney Moderate Resorts while at Walt Disney World®
Inside Staterooms
Categories 10-12 Deluxe Inside Stateroom
Standard Inside Stateroom
Inside staterooms are located along the interior wall of the ship, hence, no window of any sort. Some people find these rooms a bit dark and somewhat claustrophobic, but they are the least expensive staterooms available. Category 10 accommodations have the split bath feature. They are the same size as outside oceanview staterooms. Categories 11 and 12 are smaller and only have one bath that contains the toilet, sink and a tub shower. Categories 10-12 mostly sleep 3, with a small portion sleeping up to 4 or just 2.
