The Disney Cruise Line® fleet currently consists of two vessels: The Disney Magic and The Disney Wonder.
Both ships are truly works of art that pay homage to the glorious luxury ocean liners of an age gone by. But, this is Disney and amidst this classic elegance you’ll find an abundance of Disney-style wit and whimsy. Even the ships’ horns play their part – you’ll hear “When You Wish Upon a Star” every time the ship leaves port.
The two ships are virtually identical in size and layout. The differences are in décor and theme: The Disney Magic is art deco, characterized by slender forms and sleek lines, expressive of modern technology. The Wonder is more art nouveau, characterized by an “art from nature” feel with whimsical, whirling wave designs.
But the true magic of these ships is their purpose-built design meant to easily provide a cruise experience that would appeal to all ages. Each ship accommodates the unique needs and interests of families, teens, kids and adults (traveling with or without children). There’s non-stop fun with area and activities created especially for each age group.
