The Ultimate Place to Hang

Teens can be a hard sell for cruising. What on earth is there to do on a ship for an age group that can be notoriously hard to please? On a Disney cruise ship, there’s plenty!

The main teen ‘club’ – for both ships - is located on deck 11 midship where it’s built into the ship’s stack! It’s named The Stack on the Magic and Aloft on the Wonder. The main difference between the two spaces is décor. The Stack is trendy and hip and includes a dance floor whereas Aloft has more of a New York City loft feel with big comfy couches. Both have a bar where smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks are served. There are also internet terminals (fees apply) and flat-panel TVs where the teens can choose music videos to play or watch movies.

Teens (13-17) can just hang in the clubs with other teens to enjoy the amenities there (under supervision of Disney counselors) and/or they can participate in the many activities designed especially for teens held in the clubs, other locations around the ship and on Castaway Cay.

On the first evening of your cruise, the teen clubs host an introductory meeting where teens can learn more about the activities that are just for them, meet their counselors and other cruisin’ teens. Even if your teen isn’t thrilled about ‘teen activities’, this first meeting is important. This is when it all starts and those onboard friendships are formed.
