Every Disney cruise has at least one Deck Party. They are held on Deck 9 around the Goofy Family Pool. The pool is covered by a large dance floor. There is usually a live band or DJ, Disney character visits, a dessert buffet, a HUGE video screen positioned on the ships’ stack facing the pool area, and often fireworks! The music is loud and the atmosphere festive (very). If you are not sure about being in the middle of this type of party, you can check it our from Deck 10 midship which has a splendid view of the Goofy Pool area.

Bon Voyage Sailaway Celebration
This celebration is held as the ship pulls away from its dock in Port Canaveral. There is usually live music or a DJ and plenty of Disney characters.
Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party
This deck party follows the pirate-themed dinner held earlier in the evening. There is lots of music, dancing and character visits, including Captain Jack Sparrow! Around 11am, a “pirate buffet” is laid out. Everyone is encouraged to dress in pirate garb and the evening often ends in fireworks. |
Family activities outnumber all other activities onboard a Disney cruise, so families will have a great time playing together. There are programs and activities that can be enjoyed by folks of all ages.
