The Inside Scoop

I don’t have kids, how could a Disney cruise be for me?
While it’s true you can’t avoid kids on the Disney Cruise Line, it’s also amazing how seldom you encounter them! Because of its excellent children’s and teen’s programing, the kids tend to remain supervised and occupied. They spend less time running around the ship and getting underfoot. Plus, the Disney Cruise Line is one of the first cruise lines to have areas and activities restricted to adults only.

Adults can even lessen their encounters with children at mealtimes, which can be a difficult task on other cruise lines. Simply request a Late (or Second) dinner seating. Most families with younger children prefer the Early Seating. Another no kids dining alternative is Palos – the adult only restaurant.

While families are the majority of cruisers during major holiday periods – Christmas, Easter week, President’s Week and the summer vacation period – adults traveling without children typically rule the waves during other times of the year.
